Alexander Huber
Biography
Alexander Huber is a professional mountaineer and extreme climber. He is one of the most successful “all-rounders” worldwide (mountaineering, alpine climbing, sport climbing, ice climbing). His documentary film „To the Limit“ (2007) was awarded with the Bavarian Film Award and the German Camera Award.
Alexander Huber studied physical meteorology and decided to give up his scientific career in 1998 to follow his passion: mountaineering. From the age of 15 on, Alexander mostly climbs with his brother Thomas, building the foundation for their further development as the Huberbuam. Together they are among the most successful alpinists today.
