Benedikt Böhm is an extreme mountaineer and international managing director of ski touring brand Dynafit. Both in sports and in his business life, he meticulously plans ambitious goals and works rigorously and passionately on implementation.
Benedikt Böhm studied in both the United States and England; however, what proved to be most valuable to his management career was his zeal for pushing the limits in the mountains, to be an adventurer on the edge.
How do you handle yourself in exceptional situations? What role do fear and courage play? How do you conquer fear along the path to a large goal? Benedikt Böhm’s presentations are filled with breath-taking images and short video clips with rare footage of the highest summits of the world. He describes the unique nature of working with a team in the “death zone,” as well as leading a team that is a part of management.
In his presentations he gives answers to questions like :
How do I prepare myself to reach such an utopian goal to climb an 8000 meter high mountain in such a short time without artificial oxygen ?
How do I build up an inner ‘momentum’ to overcome the seemingly impossibility and how am I able to calculate the risks the best way ?
What part plays speed by minimizing the risk but also patience and flexibility with large projects ?
How do we behave under absolute exceptional circumstances? Which part plays fear and courage ?
How do I overcome fear on my way to higher goals?
What is essential and what is only important respectively what can be cut out?
Why means innovation for Böhm primarily ‘easiness’ not only as a mountaineer but also in business matters and maybe even in his private life ?
What does it take to find new paths and lead a change successfully and how do we get back to our original attitude after a harsh battering?
In his thrilling talks, Benedikt Böhm manages with finesse to develop ties between the world of extreme mountaineering with its so-called “death zone” and the business world.

Daniel Domscheit-Berg, born in 1978, is a German change maker and IT security expert. From 2007 to 2010 he helped set up WikiLeaks under the pseudonym Daniel Schmitt. Domscheit-Berg’s book about his time, “Inside WikiLeaks”, published in 2011, was translated into 23 languages, and provided input for the Hollywood film of the same name. In 2011 Foreign Policy Magazine named him one of the Top 100 Global Thinkers.
In recent years, Domscheit-Berg in Brandenburg has developed an award-winning ecosystem of public-interest education and production locations, including a data center as a networked real-world laboratory with democratized access to technology and know-how. The resilience of this digital-social infrastructure was proven in times of crisis: during the pandemic, thousands of protective visors were produced and taught in the digital classroom, a Ukrainian artist group found a creative home, and a co-learning space promotes educational equity and integration. With unconditional Internet access for people and machines, the place becomes a real laboratory for sensor technology. Domscheit-Berg shows how positive visions of a digital society can be implemented and what can be changed on a small and large scale. He has spoken on his topics at international and national events, from universities to commercial engagements to the World Economic Forum.
As a generalist and specialist and with a CV that combines theory and practice in an unusual way, Domscheit-Berg offers both an overview and in-depth knowledge, from the importance of basic digital education to cybersecurity, and can provide a well-founded assessment of the effects of digital transformation.
Domscheit-Berg is an inspiring and passionate speaker who inspires his audience with innovative ideas and practical references.

Prof. Dr. Marco Gercke is an entrepreneur, scientist and consultant. His first focus area is Cybersecurity. With more than 700 speeches in over 100 countries and over 100 scientific publications, Prof. Gercke is one of the world’s leading experts in the field of cybersecurity and cybercrime. He is the founder and director of the Cybercrime Research Institute, an independent research institute and think tank based in Cologne. He advises governments, organizations and large enterprises around the world and advises them on strategic, political and legal issues in the field of cybersecurity. The main focus of his work is the development of innovative approaches to tackling a problem that has developed into a central problem for governments and businesses in recent years – Cybercrime. Over the past 15 years, he has worked in over 100 countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, the Pacific and Latin America. As a respected and experienced speaker, Prof. Gercke offers excellent and useful insider knowledge on the subject of cybersecurity due to his many years of activity and internal view. His lectures are clearly structured, very informative and include practical examples.
In addition to speeches, Prof. Gercke is conducting “Cyber Incident Simulations” with governments and board members of large enterprises. These are not technical simulations, but a “war gaming” / “serious gaming” approach, which allows the participants to check their capabilities in dealing with sophisticated attacks. The basis can be a real or a fictitious company (with different branches of industry available). Depending on the decision of the participants the plot of the simulation develops dynamically. It is also highly interactive and allows an interaction with the audience. In the last years Prof. Gercke has carried out such simulations worldwide with numerous governments and board members of large enterprises. The simulation was also run for World Bank, the European Central Bank and the United Nations, and has been part of the Munich Security Conference program for the last three years. CSA customers can book such simulation for events of up to 100 participants, giving them an exclusive insight into how ministers and directors of large companies are preparing for cyber attacks.
The second focus of his lecture and advising activities are the digitization and its effects – especially with regard to “Machine Learning” and Artificial Intelligence. In the 90th he founded a company that utillized “Machine Learning” to develop software solutions for medical diagnostics. He was responsible for the development of the underlying technology. The next company he founded, a media agency, used “machine learning” and artificial intelligence for user interaction. Today, he focuses on advising international organizations and executive boards of major companies on issues related to the opportunities and risks of digitalization and the use of artificial intelligence. As an entrepreneur, scientist and consultant, his speeches are visionary and provide an insight into the significant development in this area.

Neil Harbisson is a Catalan-raised, British-born contemporary artist and cyborg activist best known for having an antenna implanted in his skull and for being officially recognised as a cyborg by a government. The antenna allows him to perceive visible and invisible colours via audible vibrations in his skull including infrareds and ultraviolets as well as receive colours from space, images, videos, music or phone calls directly into his head via internet connection. Harbisson identifies himself both as a cyborg; he feels he is technology, and as a transpecies; he no longer feels 100% human.
Neil Harbisson studied art and music at various schools in Spain. At the age of 11, he began to compose his first piano pieces and with 16 years, he studied fine art at the Institut Alexandre Satorras. In 2001, Harbisson moved to Ireland to finish his piano studies at Dublin’s Waltons New School of Music. In 2002, he moved to England to study music composition at Dartington College of Arts. The antenna is a result of the co-operation between Adam Montandon, a cybernetics graduates, and Neil Harbisson himself. For this work, they earned the award for Innovation and Submerge in Bristol and the European Award for multimedia interface Design EURO-PRIX Top Talent Award in Vienna.
His artwork explores identity, human perception, the connection between sight and sound and the use of artistic expression via new sensory inputs. In 2010 he co-founded the Cyborg Foundation with Moon Ribas, an international organisation that aims to help humans become cyborgs, defend cyborg rights and promote cyborg art. In 2017 he co-founded the Transpecies Society, an association that gives voice to people with non-human identities, defends the freedom of self-design and offers the creation of new senses and new organs in community.
Harbisson identifies himself as a cyborg, he feels both his mind and body are united to cybernetics. In his presentations Neil Harbisson kidnaps his audience in his world and illustrates in a brilliant way how his antenna really works. Furthermore, he underlines how important new technologies really are and tells funny anecdotes he already has experienced because of the antenna.
His special and unconventional presentations, as well as his great mixture of a good sense of humour and simple explanations about technology, making him a highly appreciated guest for every kind of event.

Garry Kasparov is widely considered the greatest chess player that ever lived, and today he shares his insights into decision‐making and strategic planning. He is also an author and advocate of artificial intelligence, cyber‐security, and politics. He writes regularly for CNN, The Washington Post, and the NY Daily News.
Garry became the youngest ever World Chess Champion at age 22. He retired from professional chess in 2005 after 20 years rated #1. Always on the forefront of innovation, his battles with IBM’s “Deep Blue” supercomputer put chess and artificial intelligence on front pages around the world. He continued his investigations into the human‐machine relationship with the invention of “Advanced Chess,” and many collaborations with leading AI experts, culminating in his acclaimed 2017 book, Deep Thinking. Kasparov is also the chairman of the Human Rights Foundation and of the Renew Democracy Initiative. His Kasparov Chess Foundation promotes chess in schools around the globe.
As a master of strategy, Garry applies the insights and perspective from his unrivalled chess career to the subjects of leadership, planning, and success in business. He also brings broad experience in AI and how to get the most from the next generation of intelligent machines instead of being afraid of them.
Garry’s presentations are always grounded in his remarkable life and unique experiences. With analysis, anecdotes, and humour, he takes his listeners into the worlds of peak performance and competition, strategic thinking, and how to work with AI instead of against it. Professor Eddie Obeng is Founder Director of Pentacle the world’s first virtual business school and the first organisation to offer an integrated management approach specifically designed to meet the challenges of our fast changing, complex 21st Century.
In addition to founding Pentacle, Eddie established QUBE, the world’s best 3D learning environment. He was previously an Executive Director at Ashridge Management College, having begun his career with Shell. Prof. Obeng pioneered the concept of the ‘New World’ throughout the 1990’s. He and his team have spent the best part of a decade re-writing the fundamentals of business management to create their own coherent, joined up New World approach. They have challenged all the established thinking from strategy as environmental fit to ‘hero’ leaders and re-interpreted the needs for the 21st century of complexity and fast change.
Using his extensive experience and insights Eddie will challenge your perceptions and help you to see the new reality. But more than just ‘talking concepts’ he will use examples from real life client assignments to illustrate and explain, proving, in his words that “The future is now because most of us are already late!”.
Eddie is an exciting, energising, thought-provoking, humorous and highly inspirational speaker who is never afraid to be controversial. He is also a great presenter.
Special Message from Prof. Eddie Obeng:
“The current times are certainly a challenge – but need not be a devastating blow for your business. Read on…
In reality, this year most events will need to be virtual.
As you may know, Eddie is just about the only keynote futurist Guru/top thought leader/digital, motivational speaker who is working straight through covid disruption. The reason he can do this is because 10 years ago he had built for his own use a 3rd generation collaboration called QUBE. QUBE gives a real feel, dynamic motion and emotion to any virtual event.
Eddie’s work and presentations have not been disrupted, quite the reverse, as he has been able to continue to deliver top quality, high-end, energising keynotes and teaching sessions for the world’s leading and most demanding executives.
If you want to discover QUBE you can join a public event – ‘Inspiration on QUBE’ – with Eddie at 14:00h UK time every Thursday from 30th April. Please just contact us and we will get you registered and setup for an unimaginable (and free of charge!) experience. ”

Miha Pogačnik is an exceptional virtuoso, in the corporate and political world, as well as the musical stage. He is the creative force for intercul-tural and diplomatic missions, using his music as the media to channel his thought. Miha Pogačnik is a visionary in every sense. 1981 Miha founded IDRIART, the Institute of the Development of Intercultural Relations Through the Arts, based in Germany.
As cultural ambassador of Slovenia, Miha follows the dynamic principle that artists and their audiences purposefully travel throughout the world and gather in places that really need them. He has inspired over 100 multi-discipline festivals and confer-ences during 16 years, at times in crisis areas of the world: He has played in schoolyards, the Chartres Cathedral and concert halls, at the foot of the pyramids and before military tanks.
Through music and art Miha demonstrates the principles of renewal and change, transform-ing thinking patterns and remov-ing barriers which limit creativity and vision. He creates an inspi-rational platform for tackling team work and effective com-munications. He teaches execu-tives how music compositions are organised and ways to apply those principles to business. He can also demonstrate how members of an orchestra play to helps delegates experience how leaders relate to teams. Miha says “such exposure builds up almost new organs of percep-tion”. He can also arrange for a CEO to wield the baton.
Through his consummate violin artistry and his deep appreciation of the human journey, Miha is able to take his audiences through change and transformation. From corporate executive teams to schoolteachers, he creates his unique spell to extract individuals’ true awareness and capacity, implementing the powerful chemistry between creativity and business.

Thomas Schulz knows the Silicon Valley better than hardly anyone else. As SPIEGEL correspondent, he was based in San Francisco and has been reporting from the center of the digital revolution, providing deep analysis of culture, function and strategies of the technology industry since 2012. Thanks to exclusive access to global companies such as Google, Apple, Facebook and Co, Thomas got unique insights in how the usually secretive organizations are thinking and working, how the digital transformation affects different industries and what the implications of this development are meaning for business, labor market and society.
Schulz has been writing for the SPIEGEL since 2001. Since 2008, he has been reporting as a correspondent from the US, initially with the focus on Wall Street based in New York, from where he accompanied the financial crisis. At the end of 2012 he took over the construction of the Silicon Valley office of Nachrichtenmagazin. He studied political science in Frankfurt as well as communication science in Miami as a Fulbright scholarship holder. He later became Visiting Scholar at Harvard University with a focus on globalization. He was awarded the Henri Nannen Prize, the Georg von Holtzbrinck Prize for Economic Studies, and the Reporter of the Year (medium magazine).
In his bestseller “Was Google wirklich will”, Schulz provides a one-of-a-kind view of the world’s most powerful corporation. He shows what Google is working on, how the group is organized, which strategies are persuaded by the management and what kind of political and ethical ideas influence the decision-making process. The Group’s leadership firmly believes in the ability to change the world through technology to a better one.
Schulz is certainly in the eye of the storm: By now the Silicon Valley is more than the location of a booming industry: it is the epicenter of the digital revolution and all the countless engineers and programmers, founders and group leaders aim for more than being entrepreneurs. Schulz’s knowledge is an urgently needed contribution to a highly emotional, often emotional debate about our data and the digital future.

Nassim Nicholas Taleb spent 21 years as a risk taker (quantitative trader) before becoming a researcher in philosophical, mathematical and (mostly) practical problems with probability.
Taleb is the author of a multivolume essay, the Incerto (The Black Swan, Fooled by Randomness, Antifragile, and Skin in the Game) covering broad facets of uncertainty. It has been published into 41 languages. In addition to his trader life, Taleb has also written, as a backup of the Incerto, more than 50 scholarly papers in mathematical statistics, genetics, quantitative finance, statistical physics, philosophy, ethics, economics, & international affairs, around the notion of risk and probability (grouped in the Technical Incerto).
Taleb is currently Distinguished Professor of Risk Engineering at NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering (only a quarter time position) and scientific advisor for Universa Investments. His current focus is on the properties of systems that can handle disorder (“antifragile”). Taleb refuses all honors and anything that “turns knowledge into a spectator sport”.
Taleb traveled the conventional route of education to real-life and theory to practice in inverse sequence from the common one, moving from the practical to the philosophical to the mathematical. He started as a trader, then got a doctorate in mid-trading career; he wrote literary books before writing technical papers, and his work became progressively more technical and formal with time.

Patrick van Veen’s mission is to make managers and entrepreneurs aware of our biological behaviour. He advises companies, delivers speeches and organises corporate workshops on social behaviour and organises training sessions for managers, in co-operation with the Apenheul Zoo.
Patrick van Veen studied Biology at the biology faculty of the University of Utrecht, graduating in 1993 in Social Biology. He then worked freelance for social organisations, the government and the University of Utrecht. In 1996, he made a radical turn. He decided to pursue a real career this time and joined an insurance company, where he held various positions, studied and specialised as a project manager. He took part in a management development program. In 2002, he became an independent biologist again and started his own company.
In his pioneering presentations, Patrick van Veen shows how an important part of our behaviour is determined by the same impulses that determine the social behaviour of apes. In his fascinating speeches full of actionable messages, Patrick addresses questions like ‘Why do we show certain behaviour?’, and ‘Why do problems arise?’.
Using humorous examples, Patrick van Veen draws parallels with ape social structures, helping decision makers create better communication within their organisations, in addition to helping them recognise and solve problems.

Martin Wezowski is the Chief Futurist at SAP. He is responsible for SAP’s long term innovation vision as a fundament for SAP’s corporate foresight and innovation strategy. He’s mission is to “know and show what is next for SAP and the future of work”, more specifically, he crafts future software and platform concepts, narratives and outlooks, defines and runs innovation frameworks to prepare SAP’s and it’s vast ecosystem for the future.
“I want to innovate what we call WORK out of our lives. The vision is that humans and machines work in a symbiosis, human ingenuity and machine intelligence in optimal balance, where learning and discovery is bi-directional, where technology learns HUMAN, understands, augments and respects each one of us in a hyper-personal way”
He is active outside SAP, WEF Strategic Foresight Forum, a faculty member of Futur/IO, a European future institute and other education programs, he advises on several boards, and heads up his own “The Wezowski” as lecturer and advisor in transformative innovation, methods to “lead from the future”, and future-ready change-leadership.
2017 he was named 1 of 100 most innovative minds in Germany as the “Software visionary” in the prestigious German business publication Handelsblatt.
Martin explores the mechanics and practical methods for transformative change. What it means to be an innovator and strategist is changing fast, from classic product definition to systemic interplay of “everything”, including social and political systems, deeply rooted in the challenges and promises between cutting edge tech, and human potential.
This means that when the future is faster than our organizations and ecosystems, we need to practice foresight and design a relationship with our partners and customers, when we do that the product will naturally follow. The rapid change is an asset, our most important innovation brief and the stakes to get the “right thing right” are high.
Technology is human evolution, it creates a playground that Martin calls the “Humachine”, a symbiosis between human ingenuity and machine intelligence, this opens new horizons for our imagination in a time when “now” has never been so temporary. He asks “what is human, and what is work in a superhuman future?”
Prior to joining SAP he moved across a range of disciplines from strategic leadership, systems design to human experience crafting. He worked for Sony/Ericsson in Sweden/Japan, as Creative Director, later, in Shenzhen China, as Director of the Strategic UX Board for Huawei.
He builds on his international adventures stretching from Poland, Sweden, Japan and China to Germany, and carves out time from the vision and strategy work to frequently share his passion for leading from the future, with a clear vision for humans and technology around the world.

Ingolf Wunder is an exceptional Austrian classical pianist, composer, conductor and entrepreneur. In 2018, he founded “APPASSIO” with his wife and in 2020 “APPASSIMO” – a music and arts education start-up used by universities in the DACH region (appassimo.com). He performs in the most prestigious halls and has recorded several CDs for “Deutsche Grammophon” & Universal Music. He is also an expert at “SDG”: Sustainable Development Goals platforms.
He conquered the world with the works by Frédéric Chopin as well as Mozart, Liszt, Beethoven and his own compostitions. Naturalness is the most meaningful musical aspect for him, along with musicality and of course perfection. He showed the first signs of musicality as a two-year-old: as soon as he heard orchestral music, he conducted it passionately.
His work is described as subtle, poetic play, personal and authentic, without inappropriate mannerisms. The improvisatory character that characterizes his music and Wunder’s strict conception of form and tempo enter into a fascinating combination. A special subtle magic is created. Add to this his charming charisma and his connection to the audience, whom he loves to take along on his musical journey.
Wunder has performed in the most prestigious halls in Europe, Asia and America: Carnegie Hall in New York, Kimmel Center in Philadelphia, Musikverein in Vienna, Queen Elizabeth Hall in London, Berlin Philharmonic, Teatre de Champs Elysees in Paris, Sala Verdi in Milan, Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, Moscow Conservatory Hall, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, Lotte Concert Hall in Seoul and many others. He has worked with outstanding conductors such as Vladimir Ashkenazy, Jerzy Semkow, Emanuele Krivine and Fabio Luisi as well as with renowned orchestras.
Musically he started with the violin, switched to the piano at the age of 14, at the same time developing his sporting talent and his interest in technology and computer science. His debut at the Vienna Konzerthaus followed in 1999, and at the age of 18 he performed at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris. A middle-class musical education turned into a fantastic professional career. “I never had any technical problems. I won competitions, everyone told me how talented I was, and that’s when, perhaps in childish exuberance, I said I wanted to be a pianist. And I stuck to that.” He was allowed to experiment in order to nourish his individuality and thus find his true musical identity. This identity also made it possible to overcome a brief but difficult phase of doubt, during which he considered giving up his pianistic career and studying computer science instead.
Wunder studied at the Carinthian State Conservatory in Klagenfurt, the Bruckner University Linz, as well as at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and the Cracow Academy of Music.
He is a multiple prize-winner at the 2010 International Chopin Competition (Warsaw, Poland), the most important piano competition in the world. In 2001 he received the Liszt Prize at the 36th International Franz Liszt Competition in Budapest, Hungary.
In 2019 Wunder made his public conducting debut with the Rubinstein Philharmonic in Lodz (Poland). In 2020 he conducted Górecki’s 3rd Symphony in the famous opera Leśna.
He draws attention to how important creativity and arts are in our society. Passion is one of his key concepts.
