Biography
Peter Hacker has two decades of innovation and emerging risk leadership experience in the Financial Services (Structured Finance and Insurance) and ICT Sector. Prior to co-founding Distinction.Global, an independent observatory in the area of Cyber Crime and Cyber Security, Mr. Hacker held global and regional senior executive roles in Zurich, London, New York and Singapore.
Peter Hacker holds an Economics Degree from the University of Applied Sciences Zurich, a dual MBA Degree from both London Business School (Distinction) and Columbia Business School (Honors) and was nominated to the international honor academic society – Beta, Gamma, Sigma – in 2004.
Peter Hacker is a dynamic, out-side–the box-minded multi-lingual Disruptive Technologies and Cyber Security Thought Leader. The focus of his work and research has been for many years globally on top management. His advisory work ranges from regulatory aspects (data regulation), risk aggregation and distribution challenges to executive responsibilities with regards to cyber risks strategies for risk committees, advice related to cyber incident management and product development.
Threats to data, intellectual property, brand and reputation are abstract, until an incident occurs. Adapting to this environment requires immersive, scenario, data based approaches and the use of artificial, actionable intelligence technology.
