Biography
Paul Breitner is considered one of the most successful football players and can look back on an outstanding national and international career. Nowadays, he is a highly sought-after media personality and commentator at sports events around the globe.
One of Germany’s most extraordinary and multifaceted players, he was capped 48 times for his country. In his long and successful career, Paul Breitner won almost everything there was to win. His football career lasted from the early 70’s to the early 80’s mainly playing for Bayern Munich and Real Madrid. Overall he played 285 Bundesliga games and scored 93 goals. Breitner was considered a rebel and his reputation as a controversial thinker remains with him to this day. He is a founding member of the Children’s Sports Foundation and was an advisor to the Board of Bayern Munich.
